FAISALABAD, Sep 21 (APP):Director FIA Faisalabad Zone Saqib Sultan has ordered enhanced scrutiny of travel documents and strong monitoring against human trafficking at Faisalabad International Airport.
He also directed the immigration officials to ensure that genuine passengers face no unnecessary inconvenience and receive maximum possible facilitation.
During his visit to Faisalabad International Airport, the FIA director inspected immigration counters at both departure and arrival areas and reviewed the immigration process being followed for passengers.
He interacted with the passengers and inquired about the immigration process and the facilities available to them.
He also reviewed the functioning of immigration counters and assessed arrangements for passenger screening.
He directed airport authorities to ensure maximum convenience for passengers while maintaining effective screening and complete compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
He ordered strict monitoring to identify suspicious travel documents and prevent human trafficking and other unlawful practices linked to international travel.
He said that effective scrutiny and enforcement measures should be carried out without causing unnecessary delays or difficulties for genuine passengers.
He directed the concerned officials to provide all possible travel facilities to legitimate passengers while maintaining vigilance and ensuring that immigration procedures were implemented efficiently and in accordance with the law.
