PESHAWAR, Nov 17 (APP):Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested five Afghan nationals who were accused of trying to obtain Saudi Arabia’s work-permit visas on the basis of Pakistani documents.
According to FIA, officials of FIA Peshawar Zone raided a private hotel in Dabgari Gardens and arrested five Afghan nationals who were accused of illegally obtaining Pakistani documents and using them to apply for Saudi work-permit visas.
The arrested individuals include Ali Khan, Ajmal, Qasim, Ahmad, and Hamzullah.
During the initial investigation, the suspects admitted that they had entered Pakistan illegally and were attempting to obtain Saudi work-permit visas using illegally acquired Pakistani documents.
Afghan documents and Pakistani identity cards were recovered from the possession of the arrested Afghan nationals, confirming their illegal activities.
FIA officials said that the operation was carried out to curb illegal immigrants and the use of fake documents.
According to the FIA Peshawar Zone, these arrests are part of ongoing actions against those who create and use illegal documents.
Officials clarified that such illegal activities will not be tolerated under any circumstances and legal action will be taken against the responsible individuals.
