MULTAN, Jun 11 (APP):The Federal Investigations Agency (FIA) Multan zone arrested an alleged human smuggler and visa fraud accused, FIA Multan spokesman said on Wednesday.
Accused Umair Ali was allegedly involved in extorting money from citizens and had received Rs 8 million from a complainant to provide a UK work visa.
He, however, failed to fulfill the promise and went into hiding prompting the complainant to approach FIA, the spokesman said adding that FIA team arrested him from Khanewal.
Further investigations were underway, the spokesman concluded.
