FIA arrests 6 suspects over human-trafficking, visa fraud

MULTAN, Jul 11 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Multan Zone has arrested six suspects involved in visa fraud and human trafficking in different areas of Multan and Bahawalpur.
 The arrested individuals were identified as Shehzada Nasir Hussain, Mulazim Hussain, Roshan Aslam, Abdullah Nadeem, Abdul Aleem, and Majeed Khan.
According to the FIA officials, the accused lured citizens with false promises of overseas employment and collected large sums of money from them. Shehzada Nasir took Rs. 630,000, Mulazim Hussain extorted over Rs. 2 million, Roshan Aslam defrauded Rs. 870,000, Abdullah Nadeem received Rs. 500,000, Abdul Aleem took Rs. 550,000, and Majeed Khan swindled Rs. 830,000 from victims by falsely offering work visas for countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman.
The suspects failed to send the victims abroad and went into hiding after receiving the payments.
The FIA officials confirmed that all accused had now been arrested and formal investigations were underway.
