FIA arrests 3 accused involved in human trafficking

MULTAN, Jul 04 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Multan Zone has arrested three individuals involved in human trafficking and visa fraud during separate raids conducted in Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan on Friday.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspects were identified as Mirza Muhammad Yousaf, Syed Zafar Hussain Shah, and Fahad-ul-Hassan. The accused were allegedly involved in extorting large sums of money from citizens under the guise of providing overseas employment opportunities.
The spokesperson said that Zafar Hussain Shah fraudulently collected Rs. 7.5 million from multiple victims by promising them jobs in Saudi Arabia. Mirza Muhammad Yousaf received Rs. 700,000 from a citizen on the pretext of arranging an employment visa for Canada, while Fahad-ul-Hassan obtained Rs. 1.1 million from another victim for a similar purpose.All accused failed to send the victims abroad and went into hiding after receiving payments. FIA teams successfully traced and apprehended them, and further investigation is underway.
