FESCO resolves 349 consumer complaints during open courts

FAISALABAD, Oct 07 (APP):The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has resolved 349 consumer complaints during a series of open courts held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. across the region, addressing electricity-related issues promptly at consumers’ doorsteps.
According to CEO Engineer Muhammad Aamir, the open courts are organized to resolve public grievances in accordance with prevailing laws and strictly on merit. This initiative has received widespread appreciation from consumers, who praised FESCO’s efforts to bring redressal services closer to them.
Consumers have been urged to actively participate in these open courts to ensure immediate resolution of their electricity-related complaints.
During the latest round of open courts held across all 148 FESCO sub-divisions, a total of 349 complaints were received and resolved on the spot. These complaints related to overbilling, meter replacement, power supply interruptions, faulty transformers, and new connections.
In FESCO First Circle, all 111 complaints were addressed, including 54 related to supply suspension, 3 new connections, and 54 miscellaneous issues. The Second Circle resolved 26 complaints, comprising 3 supply suspensions, 2 new connections, and 21 other matters.
Jhang Circle resolved all 24 complaints, which included 5 faulty meters, 12 supply interruptions, and 7 other issues. Sargodha Circle reported 18 complaints, all addressed, including 1 faulty meter and 14 supply issues.
In Mianwali Circle, 52 complaints were resolved, including 7 faulty meters, 19 supply interruptions, 10 new connections, and 16 miscellaneous cases. Meanwhile, Toba Tek Singh Circle addressed all 118 complaints, consisting of 26 faulty meters, 80 supply suspensions, and 12 other complaints.
