FAISALABAD, Oct 03 (APP):The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has released educational scholarships for the children of FESCO employees who excelled in the academic year 2024-25.
According to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) FESCO Engineer Muhammad Aamir, the initiative is part of company’s ongoing welfare measures for supporting employees and encouraging their children’s pursuit of higher education.
He said that the scholarships have been awarded to 39 children of FESCO officers and employees from various cadres. Among them, 11 ninth-grade students received a total amount of Rs.320,000/- while 15 matric students were granted Rs.450,000/-. Similarly, five students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs were awarded Rs.435,000/- and one pharmacy student received Rs.45,000/- as scholarship support, he added.
He said that the applications submitted by employees for their children’s scholarships underwent thorough scrutiny before final approval and disbursement.
The company valued the hard work of its employees and considered the educational growth of their children a top priority, he added.
Meanwhile, FESCO employees lauded the initiative of FESCO Chief Engineer Muhammad Aamir and expressed gratitude for the company’s commitment to recognize merit and support talented and deserving students.
They also opined hope that the scholarship program would continue in future to encourage hardworking and bright students in their academic journey.
