Federal Ombudsman’s intervention ensures payment of dues to retired cadet college professor

ABBOTTABAD, Jul 23 (APP): The intervention and decisive action by Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi on Tuesday have resulted in the successful payment of outstanding dues to a retired professor from Cadet College Kakol.
The professor, who had served in the English Department, lodged a complaint at the Federal Ombudsman’s regional office in Abbottabad regarding the non-payment of his dues by the college.
Upon receiving the complaint, notices were issued to the relevant department officers. Following a thorough investigation, Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi ruled in favor of the professor and directed the immediate payment of his dues. Acting on this decision, the administration of Cadet College Kakol Abbottabad paid the service dues owed to the complainant.
Expressing his gratitude, the complainant thanked Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi and Abdul Ghafoor Baig, the in-charge of the Federal Ombudsman Regional Office in Abbottabad, for their efforts in resolving his longstanding issue and ensuring he received his rightful dues.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Ghafoor Baig highlighted the commitment of the Federal Ombudsman’s institution to resolving public complaints and addressing mismanagement in federal and provincial departments and other institutions. He emphasized that complaints are handled promptly and efficiently, and decisions are implemented without any delay. He described the Federal Ombudsman’s institution as a “people’s court” where complaints are resolved quickly and without any charges.
