Federal Ombudsman directs WASA to provide drinking water to people in Quetta

QUETTA, Jun 17 (APP):Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Quetta issued orders to the WASA Department to provide drinking water to twelve houses in the city.
 Earlier, the petitioner said that the Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) was not providing water to his street, which included twelve houses, for a long time.
He had applied to WASA several times, but there was no response.
Therefore, to seek justice, he contacted the Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Quetta and filed a petition against the concerned department.
As soon as the petition was received, the Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Quetta initiated a timely inquiry, summoned the concerned department and started an immediate hearing of the case.
During the hearing, the concerned department could not give any satisfactory response.
Therefore, the Federal Ombudsman issued orders that twelve houses in the petitioner’s street be provided with water immediately.
As soon as the orders were received, the concerned department provided water to all the houses in the petitioner’s street.
 The petitioner thanked the Federal Ombudsman for this timely and fair decision
