FAISALABAD, Dec 01 (APP): Following instructions from the Punjab government, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has begun implementing a digital system for Government-to-Person (G2P) payments.
Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry announced on Monday that the salaries and pensions for the month of November had been successfully transferred to employees’ bank accounts. The primary aim of the digital system is to ensure checkless and cashless transactions, enabling faster and more transparent payments.
He explained that this move is part of the ongoing modernization efforts within the FDA, where salaries, pensions, and payments to employees and contractors are now being processed digitally.
As part of the broader reforms, the FDA is also implementing an e-filing and office automation system for departmental reports and official correspondence. This step marks significant progress in the authority’s push towards paperless operations.
