FAISALABAD, Oct 31 (APP): The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) removed encroachments from roads and challaned 15 shopkeepers on charge of law violation.
An FDA spokesman said here on Friday that anti-encroachment teams on public complaints conducted operation in Gulistan Colony, Usman Abad and Dogar Basti where the shopkeepers encroached the public pathways and creating severe problems for the pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
During operation, the FDA teams removed all kinds of encroachments and confiscated material from the sites.
As many as 15 shopkeepers were challaned and their cases were submitted in the court of Special Judicial Magistrate for further legal action, he added.
