FDA for 100 percent recovery of outstanding dues from defaulters

FAISALABAD, Jun 17 (APP):Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has issued a stern warning to the field staff who failed to meet revenue recovery targets by end of current fiscal year.
He stressed the need for indiscriminate action against the defaulters to ensure 100 percent
recovery of outstanding FDA dues.
He also directed FDA Additional Director Kaiser Abbas Rind to supervise the recovery campaign for achieving daily targets besides monitoring performance of the field staff.
In this regard, ADG Kaiser Abbas Rind convened a meeting to review updates regarding revenue recovery.
Deputy Director Finance Humaira Ashraf, Deputy Director Estate Management FDA City Mian Izhar-ul-Haq, Deputy Director Kutchi Abadi Afzal Ansari, Assistant Director Revenue One Window Counter Mian Akhtar, and other officials were present on the occasion.
The ADG expressed deep concern over slow pace of recovery campaign and warned that the staff demonstrating poor performance would be held accountable.
He urged the officials to issue final notices to the defaulters and contact them immediately for dues recovery.
He said that buildings belonging to those who had not paid their commercialization fee should be sealed until total recovery of outstanding dues.
He also directed the officers of One Window Counter to closely monitor recovery of fees, fines and other dues.
He highlighted the importance of meticulous scrutiny of the accounts to ensure that there were no discrepancies or deficiencies in financial assessments.
The ADG also directed for achieving better results of special campaign against defaulting allottees in FDA City and said that in this connection a comprehensive strategy should be adopted to achieve 100 percent recovery targets.
