FDA directed for 100pc recovery of outstanding dues

FAISALABAD, Oct 30 (APP):Additional Director General (ADG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Qaisar Abbas Rind has directed the FDA officials to ensure 100 per cent recovery of outstanding dues from defaulters and warned that the staff showing poor performance in this regard would be held accountable.
Presiding over a meeting, he reviewed the progress for recovery targets and details of arrears in various heads.
He expressed dismay over the weakness in achieving recovery targets and said that sluggishness or inattention to this task would not be tolerated at all.
He strictly mandated that properties of those who failed to pay commercialization dues should be sealed and there should be no leniency in the recovery of fines imposed for illegal developments.
He set new revenue collection targets for FDA staff of various departments and announced that their performance would be checked weekly and those who failed to meet the targets would be called for explanation.
He also directed that final notices should be issued to defaulter allottees of FDA City for immediate payment of development charges/additional development charges and outstanding installments.
In case of non-compliance, the departmental action should be initiated to cancel plots of the defaulters, he added.
He further instructed the incharge officers to check revenue collection daily and continue monitoring of the recovery drive.
Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, Director IT Yasir Ejaz Chattha, Deputy Directors Finance Faisal Tariq Butt and Humaira Ashraf, Deputy Director Estate Management Adnan Shahzad, Deputy Director Katchi Abadi (Informal Settlements) Afzal Ansari, Assistant Director Recovery Mian Akhtar and others were also present in the meeting.
