FAISALABAD, Nov 08 (APP): On the occasion of Iqbal Day, President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), Farooq Yousaf Sheikh, paid tribute to Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, emphasizing the poet-philosopher’s promotion of self-reliance and egoism among the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent.
In his message, Sheikh highlighted that Iqbal’s revolutionary philosophy continues to be a guiding light for Muslims, not just in Pakistan, but across the world. “The philosophy of Allama Iqbal is as relevant today as ever,” he stated. “We must strive to achieve self-reliance in every field — from trade and commerce to education and research — so we can make Iqbal’s dream of a self-sufficient, dynamic, and prosperous Pakistan a reality.”
Sheikh reaffirmed the commitment of the business and trade community to contribute to Pakistan’s economic growth. “The business sector will continue to play its vital role in strengthening the national economy and ensuring that Pakistan moves toward progress and prosperity,” he added.
