LILLAH, Jun 27 (APP): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Sunday received traditional, unique and highly dignified welcome from the people of his constituency on arrival at Lillah Interchange, Tehsil Pind Dadan Khan.
Upon arrival, a large number of people showered him with rose petals. The minister would inaugurate the construction of two lane Lillah to Jhelum road being constructed with the cost of Rs 13 billion.
The project had recently been approved by the government.
The Road construction was a long-standing demand of the people of the area.
The people of the area appreciated the efforts of the minister for the construction of the road, which also boost business activities in the area as well as tourist places like Khewra Salt Mine and Qila Nandana.
Apart from Jhelum, the project would change the destiny of the people from many other districts including Mandi Bahauddin, Jhelum, Sargodha and Khushab.
