SAHIWAL, Jul 29 (APP):Sahiwal Police on Monday arrested a man who was impersonating a police officer and demanding bribes from citizens.
According to Police, Zahid Iqbal who was previously a police volunteer was caught wearing a police uniform and claiming to be an officer. DPO Faisal Shehzad ordered the arrest after receiving reports of Iqbal’s activities.
The police have registered a case against him. The Sahiwal police have assured the public that they are committed to ensuring justice and taking action against any corruption within the force.
