Factory workers trained in firefighting

LAHORE, Jan 01 (APP):On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Sheikhupura Shahid Imran Marth, Chief Instructor Civil Defense Sheikhupura Hanif Virk trained workers in firefighting in various factories located on Sheikhupura Lahore Road.

At the end of the practical exercises, a rally was held to highlight the importance of civil defense.

In his address, Hanif Virk said that the youth should register themselves as volunteers in civil defense and strengthen the country’s defense.

They can also register online on the department’s website. “Our top priority is to prepare the public to deal with emergencies,” he added.
