PESHAWAR, Feb 01 (APP):In a major development made in the investigation of the suicide bombing at the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, the investigation authorities have confirmed that the facilitators of the attackers were also Afghan nationals.
According to investigation officials on Sunday, the suicide attack on the FC Headquarters was planned in Afghanistan.
Several key arrests have been made in connection with the case, and further investigations are underway.
The attack took place on November 24 last year, when suicide bombers targeted the Federal Constabulary Headquarters.
As a result of the attack, three FC personnel were martyred and five others sustained injuries. Additionally, eight civilians were injured in the incident.
Investigators have revealed that all three suicide bombers involved in the attack were Afghan citizens. Officials say evidence collected during the investigation has strengthened the case and helped trace the network behind the attack.
Security agencies continue to probe cross-border links and are working to identify remaining suspects involved in planning and facilitating the attack.
