Excise police recovers 6 kg hashish
PESHAWAR, Oct 06 (APP):Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department on Tuesday arrested four accused and recovered a total of six kilograms of hashish in two separate operations against drug traffickers.
According to Excise Department, Excise Police Peshawar intercepted a vehicle MNA-2984 at a joint check post on motorway. During search, 3,600 grams of hashish were recovered, and two accused, Muhammad Sohail and Hamza Ahmed were arrested on the spot.
In a separate operation, Excise Police Peshawar stopped vehicle AWD-283 at the M-1 Joint Check Post and recovered 2,400 grams of hashish. Two accused, Abdul Subhan and and Sufyan Azhar, residents of Shadman Colony, Gujrat were arrested.
Cases have been registered against all four suspects at Excise Police Station Peshawar and further investigation is underway.
