LAHORE, Jul 15 (APP):Acting on the directives of Ombudsman Punjab, a province-wide operation was launched to reclaim illegally occupied government land.
As a result, 300 kanals of state land, valued at approximately Rs 499.3 million, was
successfully recovered from encroachers.
The action was taken following public complaints received at the Regional Offices of the Ombudsman Punjab regarding illegal occupation of government property.
In addition to reclaiming the land, unauthorized structures built on it were demolished.
