CHINIOT, Mar 4 (APP):A 66-year-old woman tragically lost her life after falling from a moving rickshaw on Jhumra Road, Rescue 1122 officials confirmed on Wednesday. The deceased, identified as Sardaran Bibi, daughter of Sanaullah and a resident of Mohalla Garha, reportedly sustained severe injuries when she fell onto the road; consequently, emergency services were immediately alerted.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, response teams promptly reached the scene and administered initial medical assistance. Despite their swift intervention and careful handling, the injured woman was found to be in critical condition. She was subsequently shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Chiniot, for further treatment.
However, doctors at the hospital were unable to save her life, and Sardaran Bibi succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. The sudden incident has left her family in deep shock and grief.
Later, following necessary medico-legal formalities, the body was respectfully handed over to her heirs. Authorities have urged commuters to exercise caution while traveling to prevent such unfortunate accidents in the future.
