DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 21 (APP): Two unidentified motorcycle riders shot dead a 62-year-old man after calling him out of his house here in the limits of Dera Town police station, police said on Tuesday.
According to details, Maqbool Hussain, a resident of Hasni Sherokhana, reported to Dera Town Police Station that he, his father Syed Imdad Hussain Shah (62), and other family members were at home when someone knocked at their door. His father went outside, and moments later, the family heard gunfire.
When Maqbool rushed out, he found his father’s body lying near some bushes close to the house. The attackers, riding a motorcycle, had fled the scene after shooting him. The complainant stated that the family had no known enmity with anyone.
The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
