Ekta (Unity) Cultural day observed in Larkano Press Club

LARKANA, Dec 02 (APP): A magnificent cultural event on Ekta (Unity) Day was organized under the auspices of the Larkano Press Club, led by its president Naveed Ali  Larik  and other members, featuring captivating performances by renowned artists on Tuesday.
To highlight Sindh’s five-thousand-year-old grand culture in a refreshing manner, a colorful cultural ceremony was held on the occasion of Ekta Day under the patronage of the Larkana Press Club. The event beautifully showcased the elegance of traditional Sindhi Ajrak and Sindhi caps. The stage was adorned with glimpses of Sindh’s civilization, music, and folk traditions, enriching the atmosphere with cultural vibrancy.
The ceremony featured stellar performances by renowned Sindhi artists, including Deeba Sehar, Waqar Malah, and Jigar Jalal, along with comedian Mama Lalu and other performers, who received immense appreciation from the audience. Attendees enjoyed Sindhi music, folk songs, and entertaining sketches for a long time.
The event saw large-scale participation from the district administration of Larkano, political and social leaders, journalists, and personalities from various fields. Participants stated that the ceremony organized by the Press Club is a successful effort to promote Sindh’s culture, traditions, and message of unity, playing a vital role in connecting the younger generation with their identity and cultural heritage.
On this occasion, President of Larkana Press Club, Naveed Larik, spoke and said that the fundamental message of Sindh’s culture is brotherhood, love, and unity. He added: “Sindh is a land of thousand-year-old civilization, which teaches peace, sacrifice, and mutual respect. Cultural programs serve as a means to promote harmony, awareness, and positive attitudes in society.”
The event was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Larkana, SSP Larkana, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of Larkana Awami Shehri Ittehad, President of Larkana Shehri Ittehad, and other political and social figures.
The ceremony remained immersed in music, artistic performances, and cultural colors until its conclusion, while participants commended the Larkana Press Club’s effort to highlight Sindh’s cultural heritage, unity, and message of love.
