PESHAWAR, May 30 (APP):The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has stated that since May 27 last, eight people have died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to storms, strong winds, and rains.
According to the report, recent rains in the province have injured 21 people so far and among the deceased are five men, two women, and one child.
PDMA further reported that among the injured are 10 men, five women, and six children. A total of 25 houses have been damaged due to the rains.
Of these, 24 houses were partially damaged while one house was completely destroyed.
These incidents occurred in Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Shangla, Swat, Torghar, Mohmand, Mansehra, and Haripur.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with showers expected in Peshawar and various other areas.
