Eight notorious dacoits killed in Sukkur Range crackdown

SUKKUR, Nov 09 (APP): Security forces led by DIG Sukkur Range Capt (Retired) Faisal Abdullah Chachar have shot dead eight hardened interprovincial bandits in a major operation in Ronti Kacha’s lawless badlands, DIG Police Spokesperson said on Sunday.
The eliminated gangsters, wanted for scores of murders and other violent crimes across Sindh and Punjab, were identified as Sobho alias Gonu, Balo, Gahi Sher, who was wanted for murder of five cops and other serious charges.
Akbar alias Akbri, accused in multiple abductions and killings, including two police constables. Shahnawaz “Shahu”, carried a rupees 50 lakh bounty for murders of a dozen cops in Rahim Yar Khan and other atrocities. Jagn “Vedio Kosh”,  killed five police in Basti Kee amid gang wars. Ghulam “Ghalamo”, linked to over two dozen heists and police murders. Nazir Manjhi Shar, a suspect in string of armed robberies and assaults. Ghosho alias Gulshair, charged with aggravated kidnappings and ransom demands and Qurban Wazir Shar, a criminal history being compiled.
Several accomplices were injured and are being pursued. The sweep, backed by the FIA and Pakistan Rangers, will continue until all threats are eliminated, DIG Faisal Chachar pledged.
