FAISALABAD, Oct 30 (APP): Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar has said that divisional administration has intensified efforts to ensure uninterrupted medical treatment and availability of medicines to the patients in government hospitals.
He paid a detailed visit to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Hospital Haseeb Shaheed Colony and reviewed healthcare facilities and patient services. He met the patients admitted in various wards, inquired about their medical care and prayed for their speedy recovery.
He inspected the functionality of medical machinery and expressed satisfaction after confirming from patients and their attendants that medicines were being provided directly by the hospital.
He said that continuous inspection of hospitals would help in maintaining alertness and efficiency in emergency medical services across the division.
He also interacted with the patients waiting in the outdoor patient areas to seek their feedback on hospital performance and inspected the X-ray room, OPD and general wards to assess the quality of care.
He assured that effective measures would be taken to provide all necessary resources required by the hospital for better service delivery.
He also checked the cleanliness situation in washrooms and corridors and instructed the hospital management to maintain a hygienic and patient-friendly environment to ensure quality healthcare and medicine supply as it is top administrative priority under Chief Minister’s vision.
