DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 31 (APP):The district administration, Lakki Marwat is taking effective steps to extend relief to citizens under the provincial ‘Awami Agenda’ programme.
As part of efforts, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Sarai Naurang, Mehboob ur Rehman, paid a visit to the Sarai Naurang bazaar on Friday to ensure fair pricing, quality control, and proper sanitation of food items.
During the inspection, the AAC checked various shops, including butchers and milk sellers, directing them to sell meat and milk strictly according to the official price list and to maintain high hygiene standards.
AAC Mehboob ur Rehman also inspected gas shops to review cylinder prices, stock availability, and safety measures. Shopkeepers were informed about the directives issued by Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat, Hamidullah Khan, and instructed to comply with them strictly.
He warned that any violation of these directives or involvement in illegal practices would lead to strict legal action. He added that such inspections would continue regularly to ensure public convenience, maintain transparency, and provide fair prices across local markets.
