Education monitoring system reviewed in Lakki Marwat

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Aug 28 (APP):A meeting to review matters regarding education monitoring was held with Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat Hameedullah Khan in the chair in a bid to improve the district’s education system.
According to district administration, officials from the education and district administration including the District Education Officer (DEO), District Monitoring Officer (DMO), monitoring staff, and other relevant officers attended the meeting.
 During the meeting, participants were briefed in detail on recent school monitoring reports, which served as the basis for several important decisions.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for serious measures to ensure the regular attendance of teachers and other school staff.
Special attention will also be given to cleanliness in schools and the provision of essential facilities such as clean drinking water, furniture, and functional washrooms.
Instructions were issued to the relevant departments for the immediate resolution of the deficiencies highlighted in the monitoring reports.
Moreover, suggestions were discussed to improve student attendance and raise the overall quality of education.
The DC reiterated that improving education is a top priority for the district administration, and any kind of negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
