Education among top priorities of KP govt: Shafi Jan
PESHAWAR, Jun 18 (APP):Provincial Minister for Information, Shafi Jan said education was among the top priorities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as he inaugurated the upgradation project of Government Higher Secondary School Behzadi Chakarkot from high school to higher secondary level in Kohat.
Addressing the ceremony, the minister said the project had been completed at a cost of Rs. 40 million and would help improve educational opportunities for students in the area.
He said the promotion of education remained a key part of the vision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and its founding chairman , adding that investment in education was essential for the development and progress of society.
Shafi Jan said that under the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, the provincial government was taking practical measures to improve quality education, provide modern facilities and strengthen educational infrastructure across the province.
He said these initiatives were aimed at creating better educational opportunities for youth and preparing them for a brighter future.
