PESHAWAR, Feb 02 (APP):For more than two decades, the mountains and quiet landscapes of Bajmori a remote village in Tehsil Balakot of Mansehra District silently witnessed a painful reality.
Innocent children were forced to study under the open sky, enduring extreme cold, scorching heat, and heavy rainfall, without a proper school building or basic educational facilities.
Despite broken walls and the absence of infrastructure, the children continued to hold books in their hands and dreams in their eyes.
These were children with no platform to raise their voices who often walked to school barefoot, stood in the rain clutching their schoolbags to their chests, holding onto a single belief: that education might one day change their lives.
They were deprived, but they were never hopeless.
Today, that same land has become a witness to history.
The official inauguration of a Government Primary School building in Bajmori marks the end of two decades of educational neglect.
This transformation was not the result of coincidence, but of vision, responsibility, and personal commitment.
The change became possible when Aftab Ahmad, a renowned IT expert, technology company CEO, and a native of the same region, stepped forward—not as a spectator, but as a guardian for the children of his own land.
Having himself received education through Qarz-e-Hasana (interest-free educational support), faced financial hardship, and learned through struggle, he chose not to turn away from adversity.
Instead, he transformed his experience into purpose.
Driven by personal responsibility and a deep emotional connection to the area, he personally funded and completed a five-classroom school building within just 25 days—a milestone that could not be achieved in the past 20 years.
This structure is not merely a building of bricks and cement, It is the answer to years of tears, patience, and unanswered prayers of children who were ignored for far too long.
It represents dignity, safety, and a secure future for generations to come.
This is not merely a story of success—it is a story of return.
A return of a man who reached the global IT world, yet never forgot his roots, his people, or the pain of his community.
Today, he is not only an IT company CEO, but a visionary leader and a living example of social responsibility, who has used technology not merely for business growth, but as a tool for social transformation.
Through voluntary contributions in education, direct support for orphaned and underprivileged children, and empowering youth with digital skills for self-reliance, his efforts extend far beyond infrastructure.
At the same time, through international IT projects and collaborations, he has proudly represented Pakistan in the global information technology sector.
Addressing the gathering, speakers emphasized that when children are denied shelter, their dreams begin to fade.
Education is not charity—it is a fundamental right.
The children of Bajmori struggled silently for this right for two decades, and today, that struggle has finally borne fruit.
Local elders, teachers, and parents hailed the initiative as a historic and exemplary milestone not only for Bajmori, but for the entire region.
They stated that this achievement will be remembered as a benchmark of leadership, character, and genuine social impact.
The ceremony concluded with prayers that this school becomes a center of knowledge, values, and hope, and that the children educated here may one day become a source of light for other deprived communities.
