PESHAWAR, Oct 16 (APP): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has suspended the bye-election in NA-01 Chitral
Upper-cum-Chitral Lower in compliance with an order of the Peshawar High Court.
A notification issued here on Thursday said the decision follows the court’s ruling on October 15,
in the case Abdul Latif vs. Federation and others.
The ECP stated that the suspension will remain in effect until further orders.
