KASUR, May 29 (APP):The District Election Commissioner Office in Kasur hosted a voter awareness seminar on Thursday, aimed at educating citizens about the importance of voter registration and verification.
The event attended by professors, students and other guests, with District Election Commissioner Tanveer Ahmed Khan as the chief guest.
ECP Kasur has launched a special campaign to register all eligible citizens as voters, ensuring they can exercise their democratic rights.
Citizens can check their voter information by sending an SMS to 8300 with their National Identity Card number.
Voters can file claims for registration correction on Form No. 21 if there are any errors in their information.
Tanveer Ahmed emphasized that every Pakistani citizen aged 18 or above with a National Identity Card must register as a voter to strengthen democracy.
Citizens are encouraged to ensure all household members aged 18 or above are registered as voters. For more information, they can visit the Election Commission of Pakistan’s website.
