BAHAWALPUR, Jul 30 (APP): Under the project of ‘Safe City Project’, e-challan has been made functional in Bahawlapur to maintain law and order.
According to a press release issued here, on the directions of the Punjab government, like that other cities of the province, Safe City Project has been implemented in Bahawalpur in letter and spirit. “Issuance of E-Challan has been made functional in Bahawalpur,” it said.
It further said that Artificial Intelligence supported CCTV vigilance cameras had been installed on entry and exit points of the city and on important arteries, roundabouts and government installations to mointior implementation of traffic rules on roads. “AI supported modern CCTV cameras had issued E-Challan to several drivers who have violated traffic rules,” it concluded.
