SARGODHA, Nov 06 (APP):Commissioner Sargodha Division Jahanzeb Awan stated on Thursday that the E-Biz Portal was a significant step towards modern governance, aiming to streamline processes and enhance transparency in government institutions.
He said this while presiding over a meeting here on Thursday to review the progress of the E-Biz Portal, a digital platform launched under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
During the meeting, the Commissioner was informed that the portal provides transparent, fast, and efficient services for obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and other business-related documents. All fees are collected online, and the portal allows for monitoring of all stages of application processing.
The commissioner directed officials to process applications within specified deadlines and ensure that no manual applications are accepted.
He also directed that information desks and guidance counters should be set up to inform citizens about the E-Biz Portal and facilitate online applications and the portal’s records should be regularly updated to ensure smooth functioning.
