LAHORE, Mar 03 (APP): Dry weather persisted in the city on Tuesday, and the Meteorological Office forecast similar conditions over the next 24 hours. According to MET officials, continental air continued to dominate most parts of the country. They stated that mainly dry weather is expected to prevail across the country, while hilly areas are likely to experience cold and partly cloudy conditions. However, light rain-thunderstorms may occur at isolated locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Daytime temperatures in the plain areas are expected to remain above normal.
On Tuesday, the lowest temperature was recorded in Leh, where the mercury fell to minus 7°C, while in Lahore the minimum temperature was recorded at 18°C.
