SARGODHA, Nov 01 (APP): Additional District and Sessions Judge Naveed Khaliq on Saturday awarded five-year life imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 40,000 to a culprit of drug peddling case.
According to a press release issued by DPO office, the convicted Imran was apprehended by Sillanwali police red-handed while trafficking narcotics.
Following his arrest, the police compiled strong evidence and submitted a comprehensive challan to the court. The judge, considering the concrete evidence and the effective legal follow-up, sentenced Imran to five-years rigorous imprisonment, along with a fine.
