KHANEWAL, Jul 23 (APP):Additional District and Sessions Judge Tariq Saleem Chauhan on Thursday sentenced a drug dealer to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1.5 million in a drug trafficking case.
Accused Khadim Hussain was arrested by Jahanian police in a raid at a place near Chak 159/10-R while he was trying to transport 37 kilogram of Hashish.
The AD&SJ Jahanian sentenced him to life imprisonment and imposed Rs 1.5 million fine in the light of witnesses and evidences produced by the prosecution.
The accused will suffer additional six months in jail in case of not submitting fine.
