HYDERABAD, Nov 28 (APP): The Hyderabad police have registered 7 FIRs in the limits of different police stations for the offences of using fake vehicles registration number plates, tinted glasses and the blue police lights.
The police spokesman Inspector Shahid Usman informed here on Friday that 2 FIRs each had been registered at Hussainabad and Qasimabad police stations as well as at Naseem Nagar check post and one at Baldia police station.
According to him, Hussainabad police booked Rohan Khan and Shafay Abbassi in the FIR numbers 233/2025 and 234/2025 under sections 420, 170 and 171 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).The same sections of the PPC were inserted in the rest of the FIRs.The spokesman did not share names of the suspects nominated in the remaining 5 FIRs. He told that the action would continue on a daily basis.
Separately, SSP Hyderabad Adeel Hussain Chandio inspected the police mobile vans at his office.During the inspection he was briefed by the transport official Ali Hassan Panhwar about the vehicle fitness and the required repair works.
The SSP directed all the SHOs of Hyderabad to ensure that their vehicles were completely fit and that the vehicles requiring repairs were timely sent to the concerned workshop.
