Driver injured as mini bus crashes into tree

BAHAWALPUR, Nov 01 (APP):A mini bus driver was injured when his vehicle struck a roadside tree on Jhangi Wala road,here on Saturday.

According to a spokesperson,the mini bus,traveling from Lahore to Bahawalpur without passengers was badly damaged in the crash.

The driver identified as Asghar(45) reportedly fell asleep while driving,Rescue 1122 officials added.

Rescue 1122 reached on spot,provided first aid to the driver,before shifting him to a hospital for further treatment.
