DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sep 16 (APP):District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani has directed all the DSPs to adopt zero-tolerance policy against street crimes and no compromise should be made in maintaining a law and order situation in the city.
He issued these directions while chairing a meeting held to review the law and order situation and street crime ratio in the city which was attended by DSPs of all circles.
Addressing the DSPs, DPO Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani said that no compromise should be made to maintain the law and order situation in the city.
He said a clear reduction was witnessed in street crimes ratio but there was a need to control street crimes up to 100 percent.
The DPO instructed the DSPs to closely monitor the sale and purchase of drugs and drug dealers should not be spared under any circumstances.
About smuggling, the DPO said the smugglers were criminals of the country and harming the national treasury, adding, that all possible measures should be taken to prevent smuggling.
The staff at every checkpoint should be kept alert all the time for 100 percent prevention of smuggling.
The meeting was attended by DSP Legal Muhammad Imran Kundi, DSP Paroa Sardar Alamgir Khan, DSP Paharpur Kashif Sattar, DSP Saddar Saleem Khan Baloch, DSP Kulachi Saghir Hussain Gelani, DSP Traffic Sardar Inam Khan Gandapur, DSP City Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, DSP Daraban Aneesul Hasan and DSP Headquarters Syed Asghar Ali Shah.
