CHINIOT, Nov 7 (APP):According to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision to promote community policing, District Police Officer (DPO) Chiniot Abdullah Ahmad held an open court at Jamia Masjid Firdosia, Mohalla Ghafoorabad, during Friday prayers.
According to APP correspondent, DPO listened to citizens’ issues and assured prompt resolution, stating that hearing people’s grievances.
He emphasized that the purpose of this initiative is to reach the public directly. He encouraged citizens to report criminal activities or social evils at 0323-7543444, assuring full cooperation from the police.
DPO Ahmed’s statement that listening to the people’s problems is a key aspect of community policing.
The event was attended by senior police officials, including DSP City and DSP Headquarters, as well as a large number of worshipers. The initiative reflects the Punjab Police’s commitment to providing people-friendly services and improving public service delivery.
