Distt Admin finalizes Eid-ul-Azha plan to ensure public safety, cleanliness

DIR LOWER, Jun 02 (APP):In line with Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur’s public welfare agenda, the district administration of Dir Lower on Monday finalized a comprehensive Eid-ul-Azha preparedness plan.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bashir Khan here on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Arif Khan chaired a meeting of heads and representatives of all relevant departments.
The meeting took various key decisions to ensure smooth public service delivery, cleanliness, safety, and medical preparedness during the Eid holidays.
It was decided all hospitals in the district would remain fully operational with doctors and paramedics on duty. Hospital in-charges would be held accountable for ensuring staff availability throughout the holidays.
Similarly, Assistant Commissioners and Additional Assistant Commissioners would  inspect public parks to ensure the safety and maintenance of all recreational rides and facilities.
Park managers and staff had been instructed to implement strict safety protocols for children and visitors.
In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic, thd traffic police would devise a special traffic plan around Eidgahs and public gathering points.
Strict action would be taken against individuals engaging in dangerous stunts such as one-wheeling.
The meeting decided thaf Rescue 1122 would be stationed at all major hospitals and sub-divisions across Dir Lower during the Eid days for emergency response.
The Police was directed to provide comprehensive security at mosques, Eid congregations, and other public areas under a security plan.
The TMAs was tasked to launch a special cleanliness drive in markets, neighborhoods, hospitals, and tourist spots and directed to ensure proper disposal of waste of sacrificial animals at designated locations only.
The meeting decided that tourists visiting scenic areas would be provided with necessary facilities and the Forest Department would issue guidelines to visitors for the protection of natural habitats.
ADC Bashir Khan emphasized the importance of maintaining hygiene and directed TMAs to ensure timely disposal of sacrificial remains.
He also instructed livestock officials to take preventive measures against Congo virus and called for designated locations for temporary cattle markets.
Departmental heads were urged to execute their Eid duties responsibly, with staff assigned to rotational shifts to maintain continuity of services.
The meeting concluded with a unified commitment to ensure a peaceful, clean, and safe Eid-ul-Azha experience for the citizens of Dir Lower.
