PESHAWAR, Nov 12 (APP):The district administrations of Hangu, Orakzai and Kurram have accelerated efforts to improve public service delivery and ensure timely completion of development projects, conducting inspections, reviews and meetings to promptly address citizens’ needs.
In Orakzai, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Irfanuddin chaired a high-level meeting to assess progress on ongoing schemes.
He directed officials to ensure transparency, timely completion and tangible public benefits, warning that delays or compromises in quality would not be tolerated.
The DC urged departments to move beyond paperwork and achieve visible results that enhance citizens’ trust in government.
In Hangu, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Naseer Khan reviewed pending land transfers, the district beautification campaign and facilities at the District Headquarters Hospital.
He instructed revenue staff to expedite land mutations, emphasized cleanliness, waste management and maintenance of green spaces, and ordered improved patient care and strict hygiene at the hospital.
He also oversaw measures to control stray dogs and urged public cooperation for a clean, green and safe district.
In Lower Kurram, Assistant Commissioner Asmatullah Shinwari chaired a meeting with officials from health, education, passport, municipal and local associations to address citizens’ complaints.
The forum focused on resolving issues related to healthcare, education, sanitation and administrative services. Shinwari directed officials to take field-level actions and prioritize public service delivery.
Assistant Commissioner Upper Kurram Khalid Imran also participated, emphasizing practical measures to resolve local problems.
Across the three districts, administrations reaffirmed their commitment to responsive governance, transparent service delivery and sustainable solutions aimed at improving citizen satisfaction and strengthening public trust in government institutions.
