LOWER DIR, Jul 18 (APP):The District Administration of Dir Lower along with the Food Department conducted a visit to the fruit and vegetable market in Timergara early morning on Thursday.
According to DC office, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner, the team determined the wholesale rates of produce and issued a new price list for the day.
Officials warned that action will be taken against any wholesalers or shops found to be operating without an official price list, not displaying it prominently, engaging in hoarding or selling substandard food.
The public was also encouraged to register complaints through the Pakistan Citizen Portal.
The administration emphasized that officers and price magistrates are regularly monitoring markets to ensure fair pricing, prevent hoarding and ensure the sale of quality food items.
