HARIPUR, Jul 24 (APP): In a bid to bolster education, research, and technological advancements, the Haripur District Administration, University of Haripur, Government College of Management Sciences, and Pak Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The signing ceremony, attended by key officials from both sides including Additional Deputy Commissioner Islaah-ud-Din, Superintendent Qasim Shah, Vice Chancellor of University of Hari Pur Professor Dr. Shafiq ur Rahman, and other respected personalities including Registrar Riaz Mohammad, Director IMS Professor Abdul Majid, Director ORIC Dr. Muhammad Jahangir, Assistant Director ORIC Bakhtawar Riaz from University of Hari Pur, and from PAF-IAST, Director Dr. Mujahid, Director Establishment Dr. Arshad Hussain, HOD English Ms. Zeenat Azmat, Internship Coordinator Sabir Shah, and Superintendent DC Office Qasim Shah Bukhari.
The MoU outlines various cooperative initiatives aimed at enriching educational and research endeavors. These include student training programs, internships, performance assessments, and certification processes. Additionally, collaborative efforts in joint research projects, student and faculty exchange programs, scientific seminars, conferences, and workshops are set to be organized.
According to the MoU the students and researchers of all educational institutions of the region would be facilitated through the exchange of information, publications, reports, and educational resources forms another crucial aspect of this partnership. Practical training opportunities within different departments and units across the district will also be provided to students, enhancing their practical skills and knowledge.
