HARIPUR, Jul 10 (APP): The district administration here on Wednesday devised a security plan to maintain law and order during Ashura.
An official said that 35 mourning processions and 190 majalis would be held during the holy month of Muharram, adding 1800 police personnel had been deputed for security in the district on the occasion.
Wall chalking, carrying weapons and use of loud speakers had been banned in the district, he added.
The official said the district administration had imposed Section 144.
