SUKKUR, Nov 06 (APP): The District Accounts Officer Sukkur, Huzoor Bux Memon, on Thursday, has issued a notification informing all departments that the SAP system upgradation activity will be carried out from November 8th to November 17th, 2025.
As per the instructions of the Accountant General Sindh and the Financial Accounting & Budgeting System (FABS) Directorate, Islamabad, all departments have been directed to complete the closing of accounts at the Head Office and all District Accounts Offices (DAOs) before the scheduled server downtime.
To ensure a smooth transition, all outstanding bills, contingencies, and important payments must be cleared, and off-cycle HR payrolls must be completed and issued before the specified date.
The District Accounts Officer has clarified that no payments of any kind will be made by the District Accounts Office, Sukkur, during the upgradation period.
All Departmental Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) have been instructed to submit their necessary bills in due time to avoid any inconvenience.
