ISLAMABAD, Mar 02 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq visited various security points across the federal capital to review arrangements aimed at maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of citizens in view of the prevailing situation.
An official told APP on Monday that the DIG Tariq inspected deployment at key locations and assessed the overall preparedness of the police force.
DIG Tariq met officers and personnel performing duties at different points and directed them to remain alert, conduct effective checking, and ensure proper guidance to citizens.
DIG emphasized the importance of professional conduct, vigilance, and timely response to any untoward situation.
Official said the visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security measures and maintain public confidence in the capital.
DIG Tariq reiterated that ensuring peace and protecting the lives and property of citizens remain the top priorities of Islamabad Police.
