SUKKUR, Oct 29 (APP):DIG Sukkur Range, Captain (Retired) Faisal Abdullah Chachar on Wednesday visited the police pickets established for the security of the construction staff working on the Ghotki/Kashmore Bridge, accompanied by SSP Ghotki, Anwar Khuhro.
During the visit, SSP Ghotki briefed the DIG Sukkur Range about the security measures taken for the ongoing construction work at the bridge.
The DIG Sukkur met with the police officers and personnel deployed for security and inquired about the challenges they face and the facilities provided to them.
He directed the SSP Ghotki to take immediate steps to address these issues and improve the security arrangements, seeking a daily report on the matter. He praised the dedication and morale of the officers and personnel deployed at the police pickets.
The DIG Sukkur instructed the police officers and personnel to perform their duties responsibly and warned, adding that any negligence or laxity on their part would invite departmental action.
