HYDERABAD, Dec 02 (APP): The DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razzak Dharejo has directed all the 9 SSP’s in the Range to ensure safe security for the upcoming Sindhi culture day celebrations, which will feature rallies, functions and other related events.
The DIG’s spokesman informed here on Tuesday that the SSP’s had been directed to maintain vigilance on suspicious persons as well as those who indulged in rowdy behaviour.
The cops had been asked to provide adequate security to the educational institutions, press clubs and other places where the culture day activities would be taking place, he added.
The official said the police had been told to carry out random snap checking besides setting up pickets on important roads.
According to him, special security measures would be taken at the bus terminals, railway stations, foreign franchises and the government buildings.
